Contract lengths
You'll be hired on a four-year contract, with a possible extension for up to six years in total.
Some postdocs come to the Crick on shorter fellowships, for example, when supported by external funding for a specific project.
Funding and salaries
Crick postdocs are funded by four-year Crick postdoctoral fellowships and grants awarded to our group leaders. We offer competitive salaries with pension benefits. The salary scale starts at £38,300. Find out more on our pay and benefits page.
You will also be encouraged to apply for external fellowships awarded by other organisations such as EMBO, the Human Frontier Science Program, Wellcome, FEBS and the EU via Marie Curie Fellowships.
