Introduction
Please read the following candidate instructions carefully and in full before starting or submitting your application. You should also check the Crick's privacy policy.
If you have any questions after reading this guidance contact us on student-recruitment@crick.ac.uk.
Register on our student recruitment system
You must register on our student recruitment system and activate your account before you can complete an application form.
To register, you will be asked to provide a valid email address - please type this in carefully as the account activation link will be sent to this email address. Please note that these emails sometimes get blocked by email/university security systems or end up in spam folders, so please check your spam/junk folder.
Please make sure that your email address is one that you will check regularly throughout the application process as this will be how we will contact you.
Application form
Complete the application form
The application form has nine sections: personal details, project choice, statement, experience, education, other details, references, equal opportunities, declaration, and a link to the candidate instructions.
You can move from section to section by clicking on the left-hand links. You can save your progress so you can return to and complete the form at a later date. However, if you move to a new section of the form without completing all required fields and hitting the 'save' button, changes will be lost.
The deadline for applications to the 2022 Crick PhD programme is 12:00 noon (GMT) on Thursday 11 November 2021, when the online application site will close. However, you are encouraged to submit your application as soon as possible, to allow sufficient time for your referees to supply their references.
Please note that the deadline for references is Thursday 18 November 2021.
