The way we recruit depends on the kind of role. Many opportunities are advertised here on our website, while for some types of role, group leaders are happy to hear from outstanding candidates at any time.
Faculty
We recruit early career group leaders at specific times of the year.

Clinical fellows
A limited number of postdoctoral clinical fellowships are available each year and normally recruited in spring. Postdoctoral clinicians with their own funding can apply at any time.
A limited number of doctoral clinical fellowships are available each year.
PhD students
We recruit PhD students at specific times of the year; in autumn and spring.

We host undergraduate students each year for a summer project or placement year. Applications open in spring each year.

Apprenticeships combine practical training in a job with study.
When suitable job roles become available, the Crick endeavours to offer apprenticeship opportunities and we encourage a wide range of people to apply, especially from the local area.
