Becky Newman

VISITING SCIENTIST

I obtained my BSc in Biology from the University of Bath which included a professional placement year at Genetix Ltd.

I then completed a PhD in Molecular Biology at the Babraham Institute in Cambridge, under the supervision of Dr Martin Turner, working on the role of the RNA binding protein ZFP36L1 in B lymphocytes.

I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Training Fellow in the lab of Dr Pavel Tolar, where my research is focussed on employing whole-genome CRISPR screening to identify and characterise genes regulating IgE+ B cell biology.
