Claudio joined the Host-Pathogen Interactions Lab in 2018 after completing his PhD from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina with a background in innate immunity and autophagy. During his doctoral training, Claudio obtained support from different international programs, such as EMBO Short-Term Fellowship, Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds and The Company of Biologists, which allowed him to visit Ktistakis’ Lab (Babraham Institute, University of Cambridge) and the Electron Microscopy Core Facility at EMBL (Heidelberg, Germany). Since April 2019, Claudio is a Marie Curie – European Respiratory Society Postdoctoral Fellow.
