Kyriaki Anastasiadou
PHD STUDENT
Kyriaki is a PhD student in Ancient Genomics, aiming to produce and analyze human genomic data from Great Britain from the last 1000 years.
She worked as a Laboratory Research Scientist at the Crick for two years, using automation and highly sensitive molecular protocols to obtain ancient DNA from humans and animals and facilitate the production of high quality ancient genomes.
Prior to coming to the Crick, Kyriaki obtained a Master's degree in Human molecular genetics from Imperial College, where she also conducted a bioinformatics project investigating recurrent streptococcal infections in infants.
