
Pontus Skoglund
GROUP LEADER
Pontus Skoglund is the group leader of the Ancient Genomics laboratory.
Originally from Sweden, he obtained his PhD in evolutionary genetics from Uppsala University in 2013, and thereafter did his postdoctoral research in David Reich's laboratory at Harvard Medical School.
He joined the Crick in December 2017 to start the ancient genomics laboratory and study human evolution and its relevance to health.
