Teresa is a postdoctoral scientist in the Briscoe Lab. She obtained her MSc in Biology from the Autónoma University of Madrid in 2007. For her PhD at Miguel Manzanares’ group at CNIC in Madrid, Teresa studied the first cell fate choice in mammalian pre-implantation development. Teresa joined the lab in January 2016 supported by an EMBO postdoctoral fellowship. She investigates developmental timing by comparing human and mouse embryos as well as embryonic stem cell models. In February 2022 Teresa will open the Comparative Stem Cell Dynamics lab at the Babraham Institute in Cambridge.
