Intro

Our mission is to pursue scientific research without boundaries. We aim for our research to be open, accessible and reproducible.

We publish the new ideas, knowledge and techniques that emerge from Crick research as peer-reviewed papers.

All of our primary research is open access, meaning it can be accessed free online.

We believe that freely accessible research is good for science. It removes barriers to accessing and analysing research and data, so research can be built upon and reaches the widest possible audience.

OpenFlow Cytometry: An Introduction to Flow Cytometric Panel Design

18:00 19:30

We have shown you how to set up a flow cytometer, looked at compensation and data analysis now is the time to look at Panel Design! In this session we will look at what makes a good fluorochrome choice, how we need to consider sample preparation and fixation and how we can begin to think about making an optimised combination for your cytometer. With a mixture of theory and practice, this session is suitable for those beginning in flow cytometry and is a place to hear about current best practices.
