Come along to this free, immersive exhibition exploring the latest cancer research taking place at the Crick.
Eight specially commissioned films capture conversations between cancer researchers, patients and those with unique personal perspectives on cancer, meeting to explore some of the big questions driving research.
Conversations include BBC journalist George Alagiah, who is living with bowel cancer, finding out about how Crick scientist Vivian Li is creating ‘mini-organs’ to personalise cancer treatments, and trailblazing plastic reconstructive surgeon Georgette Oni talking to Crick scientist Erik Sahai about how cancer spreads.
The exhibition begins with an immersive cinematic installation, which transports you on journey into the human body. Art and science meet, as you experience stunning microscopic imagery against a powerful soundscape from sound artist Mira Calix.
Pick up your complimentary copy of the Oncozine, an artist-illustrated zine created by our patient advisory panel, detailing their frank and candid takes on cancer, the “Sh*t journey no one wants to go on”.
